Whizbang Chicken Plucker
For our customers who would like to build their own plucker we are now offering an easy to follow step by step instruction book written and illustrated by Herrick Kimball call "Anyone Can Build A Tub-Style Mechanical Chicken Plucker". Sometimes know as a Whizbang Plucker this is actually an original design from David Schafer who built, to my knowledge, the first easy tub type picker back in the early 1990's. This 60 page book goes way beyond the original one page sheet that David sold to a very comprehensive step by step instruction manual that even I can follow. We built our first plucker back in 1995 which came for Schafer's plan and it is what ultimately brought us into the businesses we now operate selling poultry processing equipment all over the world. The Whizbang chicken scalder plan-book tells you how to build a deluxe chicken scalder. The Whizbang scalder allows you to easily set the precise water temperature you want. An electronic temperature controller will then automatically maintain a 4-degree temperature range. A digital temperature display provides for easy temperature monitoring.
